Join us to harness the power of computer vision and transform it into an exciting opportunity to collaborate, create, and shape the future of sustainability through technology (no coding skills or prior knowledge in computer vision required).
About Thya Technology
Thya Technology, a new KAUST start-up, provides AI tools for automated image analysis utilizing computer vision and machine learning.
Compared to traditional methods of inspecting and analyzing images, this automated approach guarantees accurate identification and documentation of objects and features, accomplishing the task in record time! With our no-code online platform, users can simply drag and drop images, and click on a button to train their AI model or analyze large image datasets. The resulting AI detection model(s) can then be smoothly integrated into any app and webpage.
The theme of this year is Power Sustainability. Participants are encouraged to submit their innovative solutions, which must include the AI tools of Thya Technology for automated image analysis, to solve the following topics:
- Nature: Climate, Saudi Natural History, and Biodiversity
- Social Cohesion and Wellbeing: Diversity and Inclusion & Youth and Women Empowerment and Public Health
- Technology: Innovation & Entrepreneurship
- Policy: Ecological Economics and Governance
Create a team of 2-4 participants and take the opportunity to make a real impact by using your skills and creativity to develop solutions that can drive positive change and contribute to a more sustainable world.

Mark your calendars!
After the first phase of selection, the participants will then be contacted by June 25. An online workshop, in the following week, will take place to display the different technologies available on the Thya Tech platform.
The best three best solutions will be rewarded at the closing ceremony during the 2023 Thriving Together Conference by Saudi Youth for Sustainability, from August 31 to September 2.
