Join us for a hands-on virtual workshop with the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center’s Noah Fahlgren, Malia Gehan, and Haley Schuhl, who will instruct participants on PlantCV’s RGB image analysis multi-plant workflow.
PlantCV is an open-source image analysis software package for plant phenotyping started at the Danforth Center in 2014, and under active development. The tools are modular and reusable, allowing for easy combination and recombination to build flexible workflows and quickly extract biologically-relevant data from images and sensors. They are tailored for use by both bioinformaticians/data scientists and biologists.
The workshop is open to students, postdocs, and research scientists who have an interest in imaging plants of all sizes and extracting relevant data of architecture, size, growth rates, etc.
Space is limited to 40 participants.
