Noche de Fiesta is a cultural event to showcase the natural, cultural and intellectual richness of Latin America. The event program will include:
- Live musical and cultural performances by students and KAUST community members from Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela and Brazil
- The Thimbles – a local band, whose members are from Chile, performing Latin rock
- Cultural booths, including a Mexican art and poetry exhibition
- Mexico: Mosaic of Biodiversity photography exhibition
- Brazil: People and Places photography exhibition
- Photo booth
- “Taste of Latin America” buffet with themed food and traditional beverages for sale
The entire KAUST community is welcome to attend.
This event is organized by Latin American Graduate Students, in liaison with, and sponsored by Graduate Events and Recreation.
