The 2012-13 academic year has arrived, and a steady stream of new students will be arriving to KAUST over the next couple of weeks. The Graduate Services team has planned a full pre-orientation schedule for them which includes tours, presentations, social events, off-campus trips, and Red Sea excursions. Pre-orientation runs through Saturday, Aug. 25th. Orientation formally begins that night with a welcoming from the President, and the rest of the new students’ busy week includes keynote speeches, orientation on both academic life and student life, and other events and activities running through Friday, Aug. 31st.
