We’re pleased to announce that the new IPTV service is live and available to all the community from the TV and Mobile store located on Discovery Walk (the Spine).
What does the new IPTV system have to offer?
- Improved and streamlined product – State of the art set-top-box (STB) with a refreshed, smooth and user-friendly graphic interface.
- Build your own TV experience – Starting with the basic package with 180+ channels, grow your channel list by subscribing to the latest packages that better suit your needs.
- Exciting new features to enhance your TV experience – Multi audio/subtitle language capabilities; build your own favorite list; experience category based browsing; browse the electronic programming guide, among others.
- Smart up your TV – Applications such as Netflix, YouTube and OSN Go and others are available for installation on the STB.
- View on-demand movies and series offering – Select from options, either pay-per-view or subscription-based, and get access to a wide catalog of regularly updated TV shows and movies.
- Recording services – Record your favorite live TV shows and watch them when you can.
How to get this new IPTV service?
- Community members will be able to purchase the new set-top-box from the Selevision store located within the TV and Mobile store on Discovery Walk (the Spine). You can acquire the STB for 560 SAR and it will be yours to keep forever. Alternatively, you can lease one for 50 SAR per month.
- Discounted set-top-boxes are also available when you subscribe to premium channels.
- Students will have a complimentary set-top-box with a basic package as part their housing accommodation, free of charge.
What will happen to the current IPTV service?
- We will continue to support the current IPTV service and old set-top-boxes until December 31, 2017, on a best effort basis.
- For any current package subscriber, contact Selevision for information on how to obtain the new service.
- After December 31, 2017, community members who do not have one of the new Andredo set top boxes will no longer be able to receive TV service.

After buying the device, do we still need to pay a monthly subscription to watch the channels or is the subscription to the channels included in the initial device price?
Dear Rania. You can contact Selevision for further information at kaust@selevision.net. They will be happy to explain their service.
When you buy the device, it comes with the basic service 180+ channels that will require no monthly subscription. From that point, you can add different subscription packages they have available.
