Renewable Energy is a key solution to the Kingdom’s ever growing energy demands.
In order to test the viability of a variety of renewable energy technologies under the unique environmental conditions that exist in Saudi Arabia, the Technology Application and Advancement Group (TAAG) has established the New Energy Oasis (NEO) demonstration site.
NEO’s goal is to provide both quantitative and qualitative information to a variety of providers in the Renewable Energy value chain, which can enable them to select the most appropriate technologies for the Kingdom.
At present, the NEO site hosts technologies from 11 different technology providers.
NEO Open Afternoon is an opportunity for community members to learn more about renewable energy and get up close to these technologies, with directed tours of the site.
