Lufthansa discontinues Jeddah-Frankfurt route

Starting January 2020, Lufthansa Airlines suspends its operations on the route Jeddah – Frankfurt. The last flight from Frankfurt to Jeddah is scheduled for January 12, 2020 and the corresponding return flight from Jeddah to Frankfurt will take place for the last time on January 13, 2020. This route will be discontinued because it is no longer considered commercially viable by them.

Rebooking

Lufthansa will take care of rebooking all passengers affected by the cancellation within the next few weeks. Customers will be contacted and provided with alternative travel options.

Lufthansa will continue servicing to two other destinations in Saudi Arabia; Riyadhand Dammam, which are both operated daily with an Airbus A330.
