KAUST is pleased to welcome Professor Jürgen Schmidhuber, who has recently been appointed Director of the KAUST Artificial Intelligence Initiative.

Please join Professor Schmidhuber for a lecture at the end of this month, where he will discuss his work, his vision for KAUST’s AI Initiative and the university’s path to becoming a leader in AI.

Professor Schmidhuber is a preeminent computer scientist, and one of the top artificial intelligence researchers in the world. His work, particularly in deep learning, has revolutionized the field and our understanding of AI’s potential.
