We are pleased to be offering new sessions of the Community Arabic Program. Please see below for details regarding Arabic classes for children and adults and the Arabic Café for intermediate and advanced Arabic speakers.
Arabic Classes for Kid
The Community Arabic Program for Kids is now open for registration. The course provides children with an enriching Arabic learning experience through creative learning methods such as storytelling, singing, roleplay, videos, discussions and more. This program is for children from ages 6 to 9 years and can be taken as a stand-alone class or in conjunction with the KAUST Children’s Center afterschool program.
The CAP Kids 2022 program will offer classes twice per week from May 9 to June 16, 2022.
How do registrations and classes work?
- Classes are conducted biweekly for 30-minutes each for six weeks from May 9 to June 16
- All classes take place at ECC3– here’s a map
- The course fee is 552 SAR
- Spaces are limited and we operate on a first-come, first-served basis
Register for kids’ classes
For registrations, please fill in the registration form. Upon receiving confirmation of enrollment, please make the cash payment at the Harbor Sports Club (HSC) reception on or before the first day of your class.
Arabic Classes for Adults
Registration is now open for the in-person Community Arabic Program, a five-week course that teaches participants to understand how to communicate in Arabic in day-to-day conversations. It also introduces expat community members to the rich language and culture of Saudi Arabia.
By the end of the program, students will be able to participate in simple conversations in Arabic, as well as build relationships with Arabic speakers around them.
How do registrations and classes work?
- Classes are conducted twice per week for 90-minutes each, from May 15 to June 16
- All classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis
- All classes will take place at ECC3: here’s a map
- Available sessions and timings are reflected in the schedule in the registration form
- The course fee is 575 SAR for five weeks (10 classes)
- Payments must be made at the Harbor Sports Club reception before May 15

Conversational Arabic Café
The Arabic Café is a weekly gathering to practice Arabic and discuss different topics of interest each week. This weekly gathering is designed for people who are at the intermediate or advanced level of Arabic learning, especially those that have taken at least three Community Arabic Program courses previously.
How do registrations and classes work?
- The Community Arabic Café will meet at the Baitak Café
- Classes meet once per week for 90-minutes. Please attend all sessions
- Registration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis
- Payments are accepted at the reception desk of the Harbor Sports Club (HSC)
- The course fee is 403 SAR for five weeks from May 17 to June 14
- Payments must be made at the Harbor Sports Club reception before May 17
