KEY initiative pilot: Call for tutors and TKS students

The KAUST-TKS Office of Engagement and Enrichment is delighted to announce our first pilot program under the KAUST Enrichment for Youth (KEY) initiative.

As part of our objective to leverage KAUST resources to benefit our school children, we are launching a pilot tutoring program in early 2022 to provide academic support alongside TKS studies for students of all ages.

We are seeking two groups to participate in this pilot:

  • KAUST Personnel, MS and Ph.D. students and postdocs who would like to join the pilot as tutors (register here)
  • Parents who would like to receive tutoring for one or more of their children (register here

Tutors will become certified through an internationally recognized professional development program offered virtually, with training taking place in January.

The pilot will begin in February 2022 and run for four months, which is a vital first step in designing a successful long-term program. Parents and tutors are asked to actively participate, provide feedback, and attend occasional meetings and discussions with our team.

If you are interested in either of these opportunities, please register in the links above by no later than December 23rd, 2021.

For further information, please read our FAQ document or email us at KEY@kaust.edu.sa.

Thank you for being a part of this important new initiative.

Sincerely,

KAUST-TKS Office of Engagement & Enrichment
