KAUST Medical Services will be hosting a variety of informative, interactive activities and competitions over three days in honor of World Health Day – April 7 to April 9. The event will be held in collaboration with KAUST Pest Control, KAUST Human Resources, Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, and a number of KAUST departments.
The final event will be the World Health Day Expo at the Island Recreation Center that will include a variety of activities with prizes to win and raffles to draw!
About World Health Day
Every year on April 7, the world joins together to support World Health Day. This year the World Health Organization designated the theme as “Vector-Borne Diseases.” Vectors are small organisms that carry serious diseases such as Dengue Fever and Malaria.
