The Security Department is excited to announce the launch of the KAUST Security Champions Program (Security Champions for short), a voluntary training initiative in partnership with The KAUST Schools (TKS). Security Champions aims to train TKS students and raise their vigilance and sense of Security in order to actively contribute to building a security culture in the KAUST Community.
Security Champions will kick off during the winter break. A number of TKS students will have the opportunity to gain a unique hands-on learning experience in various KAUST Security Functions (e.g., 911 Command and Control Rooms, K9, and Drones); with activities ranging from performing patrols around the Community, enforcing traffic safety rules, traffic control at Community events, all under guidance from Security mentors.
