KAUST-NSF 2017 Research Conference

Call for Posters

KAUST and the United States National Science Foundation (NSF) are jointly organizing the KAUST-NSF Research Conference on Interactive Electronics 2017 from Monday, January 30 to Wednesday, February 1, 2017.

The goal of the conference is to assemble the global scientific community on a common platform to stimulate discussion on progress and opportunities in electronic materials and devices. The conference will gather the world’s leading researchers and scholars from academia and industry to exchange ideas and foster a collaborative framework.

A critical component of the event will be a Poster Session on February 1. The Poster Session is open to all KAUST students, postdoctoral fellows and research scientists working on sensors, actuators, energy harvesting, storage, emitters, circuits and systems, etc.

The Poster Session provides the opportunity for individuals to present their research and offers an excellent venue for extended informal discussion with conference attendees.

The submission site for posters will be open from Sunday, January 8 until Sunday, January 15.

General guidelines for poster submissions

  • Abstracts are limited to 200 words and should summarize the studies done for the poster.
  • Poster size must be limited to equal to or smaller than A1 glossy paper (841mm X 594mm). Please use the same title as the abstract.
  • Three Poster Session winners will be selected by the plenary and keynote speakers. In case of a tie, we will take the opinion of the expert visitors in the area.
  • For the poster submission form, please click here.
  • After internal review, submitters will be notified of the results by January 20, 2017.

The event is open to the KAUST community.

The conference is made possible with financial support from the KAUST Office of Sponsored Research. The event is co-sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF), United States of America, KAUST Industry Collaboration Program (KICP) and the Computer, Electrical and Mathematical Science and Engineering (CEMSE) Division.
