KAUST football team qualifies for ICD final

The KAUST football team will battle it out with the Islamic Corporation for the development of Private Sector (ICD) team in the upcoming final of the second Islamic and International Organizations Football Championship.

The final will take place on Wednesday, May 27, in the IDB headquarters football ground in Jeddah and will mark the 15th anniversary of the ICD.

The KAUST team came out top of their group containing, Islamic Relief, EWAAN, ITFC and Anfaal Capital, winning three games and drawing one having played four in total. Going on to beat the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) team 5-4 in their semi-final game.
