Mother and Baby Groups are a relaxed gatherings designed to connect mothers of babies to each other as well as to resources, support and information. Come prepared to meet new people and share your experiences.
Event details:
Drop-in sessions are from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the Island Recreation Center Activity Room:
- April 16: Being a parent at KAUST– Featuring activities and resources for new moms
- April 23: Baby play and relaxation– Featuring baby massage techniques and ideas for engaging play
- April 30: Looking after yourself – Exploring mother’s health – Featuring baby and mom yoga and balancing life with a baby
Come any time to any session! These sessions are open to babies of any age and their mothers. Older siblings are also welcome to attend.
Mothers are to be asked to bring a blanket for baby to lie on and/or a toy for older children.
About this program
Mother and Baby sessions are facilitated by KAUST Health, with a new program starting every month and timings alternating between mornings and evenings. The aim is to encourage overall wellness and support for mothers and babies. In addition to facilitation of the group and programming, lactation support services are available at every session.
As a service to the community, the Mother and Baby groups are free of cost to attend.
