In anticipation of our growing community, KAUST is developing new neighborhoods. We look forward to introducing the KAUST community to our newest neighborhood named”The Oasis,” which has 352 two-bedroom apartments and will receive its first occupants from September 2018.
New residents arriving to KAUST and existing community members including couples, couples with one child and sharers will enjoy the features of the neighborhood. A central courtyard with barbeque grills, covered parking, a community garden and direct access to the King Abdullah Monument are among the highlights of the area. The Oasis neighborhood will quickly become a part of the community as an additional stop on existing bus routes and cycle paths.
All KAUST residents will be welcome to use the community facilities located at the Oasis, including a covered playground and football pitch. A small shop with daily food supplies will be located along Oasis Lane for the convenience of the residents in this part of the Gardens and the Oasis neighborhoods.
We welcome all community members to join our new residents at the Oasis during community events on weekends in the month of September as they move into their new homes.
