Inspire, Engage, Collaborate: Office 365 at KAUST

What is Office 365?

Office 365 is a cloud-based Microsoft service that provides you seamless coordination with the tools you already know and use: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and OneDrive. These tools provide the same great features as well as powerful collaboration capabilities in the cloud to work within your team and other teams across KAUST.

Filesharing has also never been easier! You can configure OneDrive for Business on your laptop and desktop computer and synchronize documents with your desktop, check documents in and out of your online document library and share easily accessible links with anyone inside or outside of KAUST.

There are even iOS and Android mobile applications for all your favorite apps!

How much free storage?

OneDrive storage grants every user has 50GB free of charge! You can even upgrade this if you require more storage for your OneDrive; you can contact the IT Service Desk to open a ticket and provide them with an academic or business justification.

How do I get started?

To use these great services, just open a web browser and go to: portal.office.com; from there, you can view your Office 365 dashboard and access the wide-range of applications!
