Information Technology Update: New KAUST Visitors & Guest Network

Information Technology is happy to introduce to the KAUST community a new wireless network for KAUST visitors and guests: KAUST-Guest. This wireless network will replace the current guest and guest-VIP wireless networks throughout campus. This change will enhance and simplify our current guest wireless user experience by making the sign–in process straightforward and simpler.

Starting from Thursday, November 22 at 5:00 p.m., the old wireless guest networks will be replaced by the new KAUST-Guest. If you were using the old guest wireless networks on any of your devices, please make sure to join the new wireless network to continue to have network connectivity. The process to join the new network is easy and quick!

Just follow the following three steps:

  1. Connect to the KAUST-Guest wireless network on your device
  2. Proceed to the KAUST Acceptable User Policy (AUP) acknowledgementpage.
    1. Android OR Windows devices: a webpage with the AUP will be presented automatically.
    2. iOS OR MacOS devices: open your browser of choice and a webpage with the AUP will be presented automatically.
  3. Upon accepting the AUP, you will then complete the connection process
Should you encounter any issues while connecting or experience any malfunctions during its usage; kindly, contact the IT Service Desk by dialing 900 (Option 1) or via email to ithelpdesk@kaust.edu.sa.
