Dear KAUST Community,
Government Affairs has been closely monitoring the latest updates regarding travel health regulations and has received numerous inquiries from community members about the vaccine requirements for entry into Saudi Arabia.
In response, we are sharing the most up-to-date information currently available here.
The Ministry of Health has outlined specific vaccine requirements, and we have attached the official document detailing these regulations.
However, as policies may evolve, it is important to note that while the Saudi Ministry of Health issues these regulations, the airlines will manage their enforcement. This means that airlines will determine whether passengers have met the necessary vaccine requirements before allowing them to board their flights.
To avoid any last-minute disruptions to your or your guests travel plans, we highly recommend that travelers (residents and visa holders):
- Confirm directly with the airline about the latest requirements before booking the tickets.
- Check airline websites and customer service channels for updates, as different carriers may have their own verification processes.
- Stay updated with official announcements from the Ministry of Health to be aware of any changes. Government Affairs will share updates as they become available.
We appreciate your cooperation and encourage all travelers to stay informed.
