All KAUST community members are invited to visit the “How to be Role Model” forum in Jeddah from May 14 to 16, 2017. The forum will be open on May 14 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on May 15 and 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and then 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Each year, the Makkah Cultural Forum adopts an annual slogan from which events, activities and programs draw their spirit and identity. This year’s slogan of “How to be a Role Model” reflects the Makkah regional government’s desire to support developmental efforts in the region to build people intellectually, culturally and consciously through the establishment of a group of programs, activities and events. The Makkah regional government invited KAUST to join the forum and demonstrate how it functions as a role model for Saudi Arabia and its people.
KAUST will provide transportation on the first and second day for the afternoon sessions. Buses will leave KAUST at 4:00 p.m. from the bus station and return at 8:30 p.m. from the Jeddah Intercontinental Hotel where the forum is taking place.
