On September 27, 2018, developers, designers and entrepreneurs from around Saudi Arabia will come together for a JUNCTION x KAUST hackathon. At JUNCTION x KAUST, we want to bring innovators together into one space to create new and inspiring tech for the future of smart cities. Hosted by the KAUST Entrepreneurship Center, CEMSE, KAUST IT, and in partnership with ELM, we are helping entrepreneurs shape the future by collaborating with developers on new ideas.

From self-driving cars to smart cities, software and sensor technologies are changing the way we move around. But the future faces a lot of big challenges. Urbanization means more people want better mobility, better buildings that serve our growing population, and a healthier lifestyle in between.
