The first walk is for Juniors and is on Sunday, February 11 starting at 4:30 p.m. We will meet in the reception and the event will last about 90 minutes. Participants should be at least 6 years and parents may accompany their children. We will make use of the golf course buggies and so there are only 10 places on offer. When registering parents will need to sign up for the children.
The second walk is open to all community members and will begin at the King Abdullah Monument cap park. This walk is on Saturday, February 17 starting at 7: 30 a.m. We will explore this part of the Nature Conservation Area and should see a number of water birds. Hopefully we may also find the Short-eared Owl that is sometimes in this area. The walk will last around 90 minutes.
The final walk will also be at the SAFAA Golf Course Sunday, February 25, meeting at 4:30 p.m. in the reception area of the Club House. The walk should last around 90 minutes. HSE understands that for many people this time is early but arrangements will be made to transport late arrivals out to join the main group. It is necessary to start this early because the sun sets so early at the moment.
We look forward to seeing you there.
