In case you missed the fun, last night saw an exciting evening of football at the KAUST Stadium with the Graduate Students team defeating the KAUST Staff by the score of 2 goals to 1. Players were selected from amongst teams who have participated in the campus football league consisting of 150 players.
Last night’s football game was the first official game played at KAUST Stadium and it proved to be a highly exciting event for the many spectators consisting of graduate students and community members. The crowd was also entertained with a football skills demonstration by Jeddah Freestyle Crew.
The game and league were organized by the University Football Association – a student-led group sponsored by Graduate Affairs.
