Global Corporate Challenge Begins Tomorrow

Dear KAUST Community,

Global Corporate Challenge – Get KAUST Moving!

It is fantastic that over 1000 members of our community – employees, postdocs, students, and spouses, are ready for the 100-day challenge to increase their daily activity to 10,000 steps and beyond. Traveling with their team members on a virtual journey around the world, KAUST Global Corporate Challenge (GCC) participants will start this adventure at the GCC chosen location, Palace of Versailles, 20 km southwest of Paris.

The challenge launches tomorrow, so let’s fire up the engines and make sure we get off to a flying start from day one! Good luck to those who have registered and are participating in the dodgeball event organized by the Recreation Team.

If you are not part of a GCC team this year, you are still able to attend the many recreation events that will be held weekly over the next 100 days. Perhaps you will join us next year and make the challenge an even richer experience for our community.

Have fun!!

Vice President, Human Resources

On the inaugration day some of the teams have not received the GCC pulse device. We were asked to come and collect it later. Could you please update on that.

Dear Raeece – we have received most of the remaining pedometers. I will contact you to arrange for you to pick these up for your team
