Extreme Marine Exploration: Malaysia Airlines MH370 a Global Mystery
Sunday, April 15
1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Coastal and Marine Services Core Lab – CMOR (bldg. 26)
As part of the inauguration of the KAUST – Fugro Center of Excellence for Marine Technology, the KAUST Core Labs invite you to attend Fugro N.V.’s presentation on their role in the search for the missing flight MH370.
This search is the largest underwater search in aviation history, covering a vast area of remote, previously unmapped ocean.
Although Fugro’s primary mission, to locate the flight MH370, was unsuccessful, they succeeded in mapping large tracts of previously unexplored terrain.
Join us for the seminar on Fugro’s two years search, which details the hardships, technology and methods used, and the new evidence that has renewed hope of finding the flight MH370.
