Fishing Festival at KAUST South Beach

Join us at the beach for a Fishing Festival!
The festival will include local fishermen, including the “Let’s Go Fishing Kausties” group, sharing their fishing techniques and expertise. There will also be special activities on the beach, such as live cooking and a bouncy castle for children.
And if the fish are cooperative, seasonal mullet fish will be corralled into a shallow area for participants (must be over age 12) to wade in and hand-catch. For hand-catching fish, required attire includes shirts and knee-length or longer shorts. Swimwear is not permitted and water shoes are highly recommended for this activity.
Please note that for this event:
• Parental supervision is mandatory for all children under age 14
• Some areas of the beach will be restricted by age due to safety regulations
• Any swimwear should be non-revealing
• A KAUST photo ID is required for entrance
