Join us at the beach for a Fish Festival!

1:00 – 6:00 p.m.
This festival will include local fishermen, and KAUST’s own fishing group “The Anglers Club” who will be sharing fishing expertise and techniques. There will also be barbeque stations and chefs to prepare and cook your very own‘catch of the day’!
Try your luck with hand-catch fishing; seasonal mullet fish will be corralled into a shallow area for participants (12 years old and over) to wade in and have a go. Please note that in order to participate in the hand-catch fishing activity, individuals are required to wear proper attire, which includes mid/long sleeve shirts and knee-length or longer shorts, no visible swimwear is permitted and water shoes are highly recommended.
Please note that parental supervision is mandatory for all children under age 14, as some areas of the beach will be restricted by age due to safety regulations. Also, swimwear should be non-revealing. Don’t forget your KAUST photo ID, as it is required for entrance to the beach.
