As part of the ongoing fire safety maintenance and repair program here at KAUST, we will be temporarily shutting off fire water supplies to the following, non-academic, buildings.
This shut off will take place Friday, May 1, from 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The following buildings will be temporary closed to all but essential program personnel during the activity:
- University Library (building 12)
- Dining Hall (building 13)
- Campus Mosque (building 15)
- Administration Building (building 16)
- Campus Support Services Building (building 17)
- Museum & Conference Center (building 19)
- Auditorium (building 20)
- Parking Garage – North (building 21N)
In the interest of safety and to comply with KAUST Fire department directives:
- No persons beyond those involved in the project, emergency, security and safety personnel will be permitted in any of the above listed buildings/areas during the work phase.
- The Dining hall (building 13) will be closed from 6:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Only those buildings listed above are affected by this work, access to all other campus buildings will remain open as usual.
