Falling Walls is looking for young innovators to present their research projects, business plans, entrepreneurial or social initiatives. Presentations will be made before a panel of judges, and must be completed within three minutes.
KAUST is honored to be selected as one of the world’s elite 100 universities to participate in the Falling Walls Competition and all KAUST community members aged 35 or less are eligible.
To apply before the deadline today, August 24, go to falling-walls.com/lab, then click the photo box titled ‘Applications Open Now.’ From the next page, choose ‘KAUST’ from the first drop down box, and proceed to complete your application.
The KAUST Falling Walls Lab Competition will be held at KAUST on September 17.
Prizes will be awarded to five finalists, with an ultimate winner earning a trip to Berlin for the international Falling Walls Competition on the weekend of November 8, 2014.

- 2nd Prize/Runner Up – MacBook Air 11″ (256 GB)
- 3rd Prize – iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cellular (64 GB)
- 4th Prize – iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cellular (32 GB)
- 5th Prize – iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cellular (16 GB)
