Facilities Management (FM) has started the Annual Structural Integrity Inspection Program, which targets trellises present in the Safaa Garden and Island homes.
An outcome of these inspections has brought to light situations where residents are hanging items from these trellises, such as swings, hammocks, punching bags, gymnastic rings, amongst others.
The trellises are designed as an ornamental element, with no consideration for bearing load or weight. They are not structural elements. Therefore, hanging items from them can cause extremely dangerous situations with the potential to harm residents.
We appreciate your support in accepting the invitation to inspect the trellises of your house, providing access to the FM Team.
