The Saudi Arabian Presidency of Meteorology and Environmental Protection is advising that heavy rainfall and strong winds may affect the region between Jeddah and Rabigh tomorrow morning, Friday, January 27.
We recommend checking today to ensure that your balcony drains are unblocked and free of debris; this will reduce indoor leakage in case rains are heavy. In the event minor flooding does occur at KAUST, for your safety and the safety of others, we strongly advise remaining indoors and avoiding flooded areas. Flooding can create hidden hazards, so use common sense and stay safe.
