Enrichment in the Spring – your feedback matters to us

You can still submit proposals for WEP 2018 until Thursday, May 18, at 12:00 p.m.

We would like to share the constructive feedback you gave us about Enrichment in the Spring 2017, which focused on the theme of “Pioneers” and was chaired by Professor Gilles Lubineau.

On a scale of 4, the Pioneers keynote lectures ranked from 3.2 to 3.8, showing high appreciation from the attendees.

The feedback about the Opening Night was extremely positive (3.9) for the concert by Abdulrahman Mohammed and his musicians, which included the relaxing Arabic atmosphere in the Auditorium (bldg. 20).

The workshops Pioneering Plastic Painting, Build Your Own Astrolabe and Doll-Making were very popular (3.33 to 3.85), and the five exhibitions were also well-appreciated. The high quality of the Celebrate Saudi Arabia art competition also contributed to the excellent cultural offerings.

Tours of the Museum of Science and Technology in Islam (MOSTI) were a great success (3.77).

Movies like “Toy Story” (4.00) and those followed by a discussion such as “Ice and the Sky” (3.8) for the Film Festival were also extremely popular.

Thank you again for your feedback. We enjoyed organizing this program and inviting international speakers with the help of the University’s faculty, the self-directed groups, the Office of the Arts, the President’s Office and all departments and community members who contributed.
