Enrichment in the Spring: Keynote and awards for the final day

Wednesday, April 19

To close our pioneering week that started with the enthusiastic crowd of the Opening Night and continued with great keynotes, exhibitions and workshops, tonight we will celebrate pioneering in technology and announce the winners of the Celebrate Saudi Arabia Art Competition. Eric Fossum, professor at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth, will share the story of the CMOS image sensor now used in billions of cameras, and present the next step: The Quantum Image Sensor (QIS).

During the day, a cultural exhibition and two special doll-making craft workshops, led by the Al-Faisalya Society’s Sleysla project, will be another opportunity to celebrate Saudi Heritage.

Make sure you visit the four exhibitions and listen to the Pioneers On-Air interview live on Facebook.
