Hello,
the Emirates and Qatar Airlines offers for KAUST employees is a fantastic idea (even though i would only save 19SAR on a flight to Dubai). However, the promotion code is only valid with a KAUST email, which means i would miss out on mileage rewards if i am registered with a different email (emirates airline in my case). if this can be taken into consideration it would be great.

The promotion code is linked with the KAUST email address, which is just for verification purposes so the system knows that the passenger is from KAUST and not an outsider. So even though your Skywards account is registered with a different email address (which is usual as people register with their personal email address), it will not stop you from earning the miles. All you need to do is to make sure that the frequent flyer number is updated in the booking before the flying.

When entering the promo code the prices display in a weird format and not clear at all and they alot more expensive than without a promo code, in my case normal price is 4000 Sar and 8000 with promo code, very strange!!
