Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS (Precise Pangolin) & Ubuntu 14.04.6 LTS (Trusty Tahr)
KAUST IT, in an effort to continuously improve services shall be phasing out its legacy application stack (AppStack) for Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS (Precise Pangolin) and Ubuntu 14.04.6 LTS (Trusty Tahr). If you are using either of these operating systems you will not be able to work with the research applications provided by the Information Technology Department’s Research Computing Team after Thursday, May 2, 2019.
We request you to upgrade your machine to the latest Ubuntu operating system so that you may continue to use the research applications provided by KAUST IT’s latest sAppStack. If you have any question or concerns please contact us through Research and Lab Workstations Support.
