Eid opening hours

When Eid commences, Community Life facilities and services generally resume to operate on their regular schedule again. Please note that this year, Ramadan continues for the first part of the Eid break, so the opening hours will change part-way through the week. The official first day of Eid will be announced by the government and is currently anticipated to fall on Tuesday, June 4 or Wednesday, June 5.

Have a look at the Ramadan opening hours for the first part of the Eid break, and the regular opening hours for the second part of the break. However, there are some exceptions, listed below:

Recreation

• South Beach: Monday, June 3 is family day (Ladies Day is cancelled for Eid).

Retail and Restaurants

• Al Marsa: Treat yourself along with friends and family with a special feast. Learn more.
• Vet Clinic: Closed from Sunday, June 2 until Thursday, June 6.
• Samba: Closed from Sunday, June 2 until Thursday, June 6. Resuming regular office hours on Sunday, June 9.
• SABB: Closed from Sunday, June 2 until Thursday, June 6. Resuming regular office hours on Sunday, June 9.

KAUST Health

• As always, 012-808-0911 emergency response and the Emergency Department operate 24/7.
• Clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday June 2 and Monday June 3.
  The Clinic is closed from Tuesday June 4 until Saturday June 8. Learn more
• There will be no clinics on Saturdays or extended hours on Mondays from Ramadan throughout the summer break.

Transportation

• Eid Bus Schedule

• Normal Bus Schedule – Effective June 9, 2019
