EELS and EFTEM Workshop

Due to the sudden news about the travel restrictions imposed until July 9th, the EELS & EFTEM Workshop hosted by the Imaging and Characterization Core Lab on June 12 has been postponed indefinitely.

The KAUST Imaging and Characterization (IAC) Core Lab, Electron Microscopy (EM) Group, in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific, will host a one-day workshop that will include theoretical and practical lessons on EELS and EFTEM. Lessons will be taught by experts from Thermo Fisher Scientific and the IAC Core Lab and are relevant to researchers in any scientific field using these techniques.

Please note that the number of seats is limited to:  

  • 25 users for the theoretical lessons in the morning (B3–L5–R5209, 9:00 – 12:00)
  • 10 users for the practical lessons in the afternoon (B3-L0-IAC EM Core Lab, 13:30 – 17:00). Priority is given to users with experience in TEM and STEM.
