Speaker: Dr. Rudy Koopmans

Prof. Dr. Rudy Koopmans is an R&D Fellow in the Performance Plastics Business for The Dow Chemical Company. He holds a visiting professorship at ETH Zurich and Leeds University. In 2004 he received the Staudinger-Durer Medal for excellence in Materials Science at the ETH Zurich. He has a PhD in Physical & Macromolecular Chemistry from Antwerp University and a Business Administration Master from Leuven University.

Speaker: Dr. Rick Strittmatter

Dr. Rick Strittmatter is the global Research & Development director for Dow Microbial Control (DMC). In this role, he is responsible for the Dow Microbial Control innovation growth strategy focused on delivering sustainable microbial control technologies. Dr. Strittmatter received his PhD in inorganic chemistry from Ohio State University.
Light refreshments will be provided in the main foyer of the auditorium following both of these presentations.
