Do you want to take part in the Quilt Exhibition in KAUST?

Here’s a workshop to get you started!

What?  In preparation for the annual Jeddah Quilting Bees’ Quilt Exhibition (which we are planning to host at KAUST in November 2018), The Stitching Club will be holding a series of beginners quilting workshop. If you would like to have the opportunity to participate in the beginners category of the exhibition, sign up now!

The Victorian Tulip Patchwork & Appliqué Table Runner workshop will cover two main quilting styles: traditional piecing and machine appliqué and introduce a variety of skills and techniques, such as free motion quilting. Participants will have the opportunity to decide on their own appliqué design or can use the template provided. Different fabric color kits will be available.

When?
Saturday May 5 and Saturday May 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
with a one hour lunch break (lunch not included).

Where?
The Stitching Club in the Community Clubhouse (ECC 3), Oasis Lane, Gardens

Workshop level
Beginner. Good knowledge of using a sewing machine is essential. (Pre-training will be provided before the workshop).

Cost?
550 SAR – includes tuition fee and all material costs. (The workshop fee is payable by Tuesday 1 May and is non-refundable unless your slot is filled by a participant on the waiting list.

How to Pay?
At The Stitching Club on Tuesday May 1 between 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. or at the Island Recreation Center reception by closing on May 1.
