Do you know your fish?

Can you identify the Picasso fish, named after the famous Spanish artist because of its remarkable colors and patterns? Or the Red Sea banner fish, with its hair-like teeth that enable it to feed off small organisms inaccessible to most other fish?

If not, take a look at our latest environmental protection campaign now up on big banners across the King Abdullah Grand Mosque. (see map). Test your knowledge of the most common fish species present on our shores and impress your guests or children next time you visit the King Abdullah Monument! ARTmosphere is delighted to have teamed up both with The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Department and with the Sustainability Office to encourage awareness and action for the protection of our environment.

About ARTmosphere
ARTmosphere is the art wing of the harbor buildings upgrade project.
ARTmosphere is dedicated to presenting the best and most exciting contemporary art through dynamic exhibitions, events, artist talks, workshops and more. Through the repurposing of a construction fence, ARTmosphere challenges artists to creatively engage with a unique exhibition space and to explore how their work transform and interact with the surroundings.

The middle, species identification, banner was first initiated at the Enrichment in the Spring program as a collaboration between HSE and the Enrichment Office.
