Disabled Parking Permits

KAUST Medical Services and Security Services now issue special parking permits for those who are physically disabled.

Patients who need to use reserved parking spaces due to physical challenges may ask their KMC health practitioner to provide them with the needed form after the proper medical evaluations.

The completed request form for a disabled parking permit (also known as a handicap car tag), including the stamp and approval of KAUST Medical Services, should be presented to ID Services in the Vehicle Sticker Office where the applicant will be issued a KAUST parking permit, allowing them to use parking spaces reserved for those who are physically disabled.

I applaud you guys for getting this rolled out. I would suggest that in addition to or collocated with the disabled parking there should be spots for expectant and new moms, who could use a bit more space for strollers and a shorter walk. As we all know there are a lot of them in the community. 🙂
