Designing Apps in MATLAB

The IT Department is excited to share an exciting learning opportunity with one of our software partners, Computational Enterprise Simulations (CES), to learn how to design and share apps in MATLAB, please see the below information about the webinar.

What are Apps in MATLAB?

An app is a self-contained MATLAB program that provides a simple point-and-click interface to your code. Apps contain interactive controls such as menus, trees, buttons, and sliders that execute specific instructions when users interact with them. Apps can also contain plots for data visualization or exploration.

What will this webinar cover?

We will create an App for order analysis of a vibration signal using MATLAB App Designer. After designing and testing the App, you can share it as a Standalone Application or a Web App with users who can then import a vibration signal and analyze it using the order analysis functions within the App.

About the presenter:

Vishwa Samba is an Application Engineer at CES, the exclusive partner of MathWorks in the Middle East.  As an Applications Engineer, Vishwa supports MATLAB and Simulink users across different industries, including aerospace & defence, oil & gas, automotive and medical devices.  Vishwa holds a Master’s in Design Engineering, and has industry experience in the design, modelling and simulation of machines, robots, and processes. Vishwa has been continuously using MATLAB and Simulink for with Physical Modelling, Multi-Domain Simulation, and Image Processing applications.
