Data Science Workshop Series—Spring 2020 Semester

With an increased demand for the use of data science tools and workflows in the University, the KAUST Visualization Core Laboratory (KVL) has organized an Introduction to Data Science workshop series from February 2, 2020  to April 1, 2020. The workshops aims to equip the research community with core data science tools and enabling future data science applications at KAUST.

The workshop series will include introductions to the top four programming languages used by data scientists (Python, R, Unix Shell, and SQL). Users will learn to share and reproduce data science workflows for various applications, including developing decision support in industrial applications and generating novel insights from scientific data.
