KAUST CIV 2015 will feature a series of internationally renowned keynote speakers, invited talks by faculty and researchers from both KAUST and universities world-wide, as well as industry members, along with student poster sessions.

The conference will explore the interface of Computational Imaging (i.e. the joint design of new imaging hardware and algorithms to capture and encode information about the real world), and Computer Vision/Image Understanding, which aims to extract higher-level information from input images and videos, including 3D geometry, as well as semantic information such as object detection and recognition, tracking of moving objects etc.

Workshop Topics:
  • Interface of Computational Imaging
  • Computer Vision/Image Understanding
Confirmed Keynote speakers:
  • David Forsyth (The University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign)
  • Shree Nayar (Columbia University)
