Youssef Al Ashkar, a chemical engineering Ph.D. student in KAUST and a talented Arabic Oud player, will perform again, bringing us another recital of ancient classical Arabic music, featuring Peshrev, Samaii and Muwashah. Do not miss this chance to travel through time while listening to Youssef playing and singing classical Arabic music forms, maqams (scales) and rhythms.
