Come and celebrate Saudi Arabia's National Day!

Saudi Arabia celebrates its 88th National Day on September 23 and the University has organized an exciting week-long program of events for the whole community to celebrate and enjoy the Kingdom’s rich culture and heritage.

Events kick off on Sunday, September 23, with a National Day celebration. Highlights include the national anthem, a fly-board show, a horse parade and more at the Harbor Walk.

On Monday, September 24, Discovery Square will offer visitors a Saudi cultural experience, including traditional clothes, food and drinks. All this will create an atmosphere to remember.

On Tuesday, September 25, Discovery Square will host family fun and activities for everyone to enjoy, including a special Arab Idol winners performance of a light show in Discovery Cinema theater, activities for kids in the Community Hub, food trucks and more.

On Wednesday. September 26, there will be a costume and accessory exhibition in the Discovery Square Community Hub showcasing national dress from each region of the Kingdom. You can try the clothing on and take a photo in a traditional tent.

On Thursday, September 27, the final day of the week-long festivities, there will be an amazing folklore performance in Discovery Cinema Theater and one big final get-together to celebrate the Kingdom.

Don’t forget to wear your traditional or green outfits on September 23 to celebrate the National Day. Our community will have the chance to enjoy additional activities across campus from September 24 to September 27.
