Pets Registration Form
Microchip
A microchip gives your pet a permanent ID, helping lost pets return home quickly. You can buy a microchip either through the animal care provider/IAC clinic at KAUST or at any animal care provider in Jeddah.
Feeding stray animals
Feeding stray animals is not allowed in any part of KAUST.
Lost & found support
If your registered pet goes missing, report it by calling the C&C Call Center at 012-8080959 or emailing (cccallcenter@kaust.edu.sa). Our team will do their best to assist.
Residents are not allowed to bring external non-registered animals to KAUST – compliance will be verified at the entrance gate.
Pets ownership guidelines
We kindly remind all residents and community members to follow the Guidelines for the Ownership of Pets in the KAUST Community. These guidelines outline how KAUST regulates pet ownership to ensure a safe environment for all members of the community, and they must be followed by anyone accessing and inside KAUST.
These include:
- Leashing: Always keep your registered pets on a leash in public areas
- Cleanliness: Pick up after your registered pets and dispose of waste responsibly
- Health & safety: Ensure your registered pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and registered
- Respect for spaces: Registered pets are not permitted in restricted facilities and should not disturb others
- Designated areas: Registered pets are not allowed anywhere on Campus, and inside public buildings including retail and recreations centers.
Please access the above guidelines for the full details. By respecting these guidelines, we contribute to a harmonious and enjoyable community for both people and pets.
Enhanced vet facility
The existing animal care provider/IAC clinic has moved its operations to a better, more friendly location in the Harbor neighborhood and will continue to support the broader scope of community animal services. The new location can be found by clicking here.
