Building on its success in 2024 and 2025, Well-being Week returns in 2026 with a renewed focus on holistic wellness.
Organized by Campus and Community (C&C) in partnership with The KAUST School (TKS), Well-being Week 2026 will once again bring together a wide range of activities that support physical, mental, and social well-being on the theme of Elevate Life.
The Well-being Week program will launch on World Health Day, April 7, 2026, bringing the community together through shared experiences that support healthier and happier lives.
Get Involved: Share Your Passion with the Community
Do you enjoy leading activities that support well-being? Are you trained, experienced, or simply passionate about helping others feel better and live well?
We invite KAUST community members to submit proposals for sessions, workshops, or activities as part of Well-being Week 2026.
This could include:
- Nature walks or outdoor experiences such as stargazing
- Movement and dance (such as salsa or fitness classes)
- Nutrition and healthy living talks or workshops
- Mindfulness, meditation, or stress management sessions
If your idea supports well-being and community connection, we would love to hear from you.
Deadline to submit: Saturday, February 21, 2026
Well-being Pillars
All proposals should align with one or more of the five well-being pillars outlined below:
- Connect
Join us in building meaningful connections within our community through interactive sessions, group discussions, and networking opportunities that support systems crucial for well-being.
- Be Active
Prioritize your physical health by participating in a range of activities, from yoga sessions to group workouts, designed to get you moving and energized. - Keep Learning
Cultivate a curious mind and nourish your intellectual well-being through educational workshops, skill-building sessions, and thought-provoking discussions. - Take Notice
Practice mindfulness and self-awareness to enhance your emotional well-being through mindfulness exercises, guided meditation, and relaxation techniques. - Give
Do something nice for a friend, or a stranger. Thank someone. Smile. Volunteer your time. Join a community group. Look out, as well as in. Seeing yourself, and your happiness, linked to the wider community can be incredibly rewarding and creates connections with the people around you.
Together, let’s embrace these pillars of well-being and embark on a journey towards a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.
This activity is related to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 3, which focuses on promoting Good Health and Well-being.
