"Business Skills Essentials" short courses: Excel


Human Resources is pleased to announce the launch of “Business Skills Essentials”. Over the coming months we aim to offer a series of short programs designed to help develop useful skills that can be applied at home, during study or at work.

Microsoft Excel Essentials – 2 Hour Program

Tuesday, November 22, 2016 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Building 9 Room 2223
Cost: 50 SR

This short 2-hour program will teach you some essential features of Microsoft Excel and provide you with some useful tips on how you might use these features at work or at home.

Who is the program for?

The program is open to all community members (18 years of age and above) on a first come first served basis.

Prior Excel Experience?

The program is at introductory level, but requires you to have had some prior basic experience of using Microsoft Excel.

I believe, most of them are acquainted with excel. However, if you can provide us with an oversight of what will be taught in this crash courses, then it will be easy for us to decide.

Hi there,

Thank you for your comment: This short course will cover 6 key Excel skills for business; these are called; Backstage, Home, Insert, Formulas, Data and Review. The content within these headings will include a number of useful tips and techniques that can be utilized – all delivered by an expert consultant in using MS Excel.

We hope participants find it useful and will seek feedback to inform future courses
