The KAUST community is invited to the launch of Professor Thomas Crowther’s debut book, Nature’s Echo, which explores how the same self-reinforcing “feedback loops” that shape galaxies, biodiversity, and climate change can also drive ecological and social recovery.
At its heart, the book offers a compelling, science-based case for optimism about the planet’s future.
Through an interactive presentation, Crowther, a professor of environmental science and engineering at KAUST, will share the research journey behind Nature’s Echo and discuss how working with nature’s own recovery mechanisms, rather than against them, can help restore ecosystems. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.
